Import Privacy

1. Your Authorization

Import only an account or league that you are authorized to access. Tell affected league members that you will import their league information. A LeagueSaga feature does not give you permission from ESPN, Yahoo, Sleeper, or another rights holder. Their terms and privacy policies continue to apply.

2. Information We Import

An import can include league settings, seasons, teams, member names or display names, rosters, matchups, scores, drafts, transactions, trades, standings, logos, and related identifiers. LeagueSaga uses this information for records, analytics, recaps, draft tools, exports, and league answers. Access is limited by LeagueSaga league roles.

3. Yahoo and Sleeper

Yahoo connections use Yahoo OAuth. LeagueSaga receives authorization tokens but not your Yahoo password. Sleeper imports use public account and league identifiers and do not require your Sleeper password. A provider can change, limit, or stop access. LeagueSaga can disable or change an import to meet a provider requirement.

4. Private ESPN Leagues

A private ESPN import can use temporary ESPN session values. These values can provide access to your ESPN account. LeagueSaga never asks for your ESPN password. Use only your own ESPN account and a device that you trust. Do not send session values to support or another person.

5. Import Helper

The LeagueSaga Import Helper uses a separate, non-persistent ESPN browser session on your computer. You enter your password on ESPN's site. The helper does not read your normal browser cookie store. Raw ESPN cookies and session values stay in the helper and are not uploaded to LeagueSaga. The helper sends the league information that you review and choose to upload through a short-lived LeagueSaga import link.

6. Advanced Server Import

The advanced setup can send temporary ESPN session values directly to LeagueSaga. If you ask LeagueSaga to save access for later syncs, LeagueSaga stores the values in encrypted form. Authorized league administrators can remove saved access. Do not use this option on a shared or untrusted device.

7. Retention and Removal

Imported history normally stays with the LeagueSaga league until an authorized user deletes it or the account. Provider authorization details can expire or be removed earlier. Provider rules can require a shorter retention period. See the Privacy Policy for more information and available requests.

8. Independent Service

LeagueSaga is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by ESPN, Disney, Yahoo, Sleeper, or the NFL.
